What to expect
Day 1: Hanoi - Cat Ba Island (L) (L)
8:00 AM: Departure to Cat Ba via Got Ferry (on the side of Hai Phong).
11:00 AM: Arrival at Cai Vieng (on the side of Cat Ba), transfer by bus to downtown Cat Ba town.
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Arrive at Cat Ba Island. Check-in and enjoy lunch at the hotel restaurant.
Afternoon: Explore Cat Ba town, swim at Cat Co 1, 2, 3 beaches (the most beautiful beaches on Cat Ba Island).
Dinner at your own. Free time to stroll around Cat Ba town and enjoy the nighttime sea view, possibly with romantic tandem bikes.
Overnight at hotel or resort in Cat Ba Island.
Day 2: Cat Ba Island - Cruise In Lan Ha Bay - Kayaking - Hanoi (B; L) (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Check-out and leave luggage at the hotel's complimentary storage.
8:00 AM: Depart from the hotel to Beo Harbor (Bến Bèo) to start the exciting Lan Ha Bay cruise.
8:30 AM: Visit Cai Beo floating fishing village, also known as Vuong O fishing village, one of the largest ancient floating villages in Vietnam with over 400 households.
10:30 AM: Experience kayaking through natural caves formed millions of years ago and possibly encounter the endangered Cat Ba Langur.
Swim at one of the most beautiful beaches such as Vang Boi Beach, Prince Beach Ba, Trai Dao Beach. Enjoy these pristine and spectacular beaches depending on weather and tide conditions.
12:00 PM: Return to the boat for a local specialty lunch on boat.
Afternoon: Visit Viet Hai ancient village by cycling, renowned for its 100-year history and cultural values, nestled in Cat Ba National Park.
4:00 PM: Return to the pier. Pick up luggage at the hotel and depart for Hanoi.
Arrival in Hanoi in the everning. Farewell and see you again on future trips.
