Introduction
The Mother Au Co Temple Festival is held over three days, starting from the 5th day of the first lunar month, with the main ceremony taking place on the "celestial descent" day, the 7th. Other ceremonies throughout the year include the 12th day of the third month, the 13th day of the eighth month, and the "celestial ascent" day on the 25th of the twelfth month. At 8 AM on the 6th day of the first lunar month, people flock to Hien Luong Commune, Ha Hoa District, to witness the opening of the festival and participate in cultural, sports, and entertainment activities rich in national identity.
Festival ceremonies
The ritual ceremonies begin at 8 AM on the 7th day of the first lunar month, featuring two main activities: the palanquin procession into the Mother Temple and the Mother worship ceremony. This is a highly distinctive part, conducted strictly according to the traditional festival rituals of Phú Thọ, rich in spiritual significance and characteristic of Vietnamese culture.
