Dành Temple Festival

The festival begins with a ritual offering to the deities, praying for a year of favorable weather, bountiful harvests, good health for the people, warm and happy families, and peaceful, harmonious villages.

A distinctive highlight of the ritual segment that always attracts a large number of participants is the solemn procession of the saints, which is held grandly from Vuong Communal House to Dành Temple and back.

During the two-day festival, various special traditional folk games are organized, such as a rice cooking contest, free-style wrestling, volleyball, tug-of-war, and cultural exchanges. Visitors can both watch the festivities and participate in the games.

The Dành Temple Festival is also an occasion for local people and visitors to pay homage to their roots and respectfully remember the talented sages and those who have made great contributions to the nation. Attending the Dành Temple Festival is a chance for tourists from near and far to visit and enjoy the temple's scenery.
