Ceremonial part
The ceremonial part includes the following rituals: Offering tributes to the Hùng Kings, consisting of bánh chưng, bánh giầy, fruits, and products crafted by the villagers. Following the ceremony, the villagers organize a palanquin procession to the Hùng Temple. The procession consists of 200 to 400 people dressed in traditional festival attire, carrying four ornate palanquins adorned with red lacquer and gold leaf, intricately carved with great craftsmanship.
Festival part
The festive part includes recreational, cultural, artistic, and sports activities. Among them, many traditional folk games are reenacted, such as human chess, cockfighting, blindfolded drum-beating, fast bánh chưng wrapping and cooking contests, cultural performances, and men's and women's volleyball competitions.
