Located in the northeast of Vietnam and covering an area of more than 3,000 km², Non Nuoc Cao Bang was recognized by UNESCO as a Global Geopark in 2018. Not only is it a treasure trove of valuable geological heritage, but it is also a land rich in cultural and historical traditions, home to diverse ethnic minority communities.

Nestled at the foot of limestone mountains in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Khuoi Ky Stone Village resembles an ancient painting amidst the forest. Home to the Tay ethnic group, this “living heritage” dates back to the 16th-century Mac Dynasty and remains well-preserved today.

Nguom Ngao Cave is located inside a mountain in Gun Village (Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang), about 5 kilometers from Ban Gioc Waterfall. The cave was discovered in 1921, opened for tourism in 1996, and was recognized as a national scenic site in 1998.

Thu Sy fish trap weaving village, with over 200 years of history, is renowned for its handcrafted bamboo fish traps - a symbol of riverine life in Vietnam’s northern delta. The peaceful rural setting, courtyards filled with drying bamboo products, and the rhythmic sounds of weaving offer visitors an unforgettable cultural experience.

Nestled beside the peaceful banks of the Red River, Chu Dong Tu Temple has long been an essential spiritual destination for the people of the Red River Delta region, especially those in Hung Yen Province. The temple is not only a sacred place of folk worship but is also deeply connected to the legendary love story of Chu Dong Tu and Princess Tien Dung. This tale has become a lasting symbol within Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.
