Day 2: Hue - Danang - Hoi An (B)

In the morning, meet with our guide and begin your exploration of the Imperial City of Hue. Located on the northern bank of the Perfume River, the Hue Citadel was built by Emperor Gia Long and designed exclusively for the Emperor and his household. This 2-kilometer square complex encompasses three walled enclosures: the Citadel (Kinh Thanh Hue), the Yellow Imperial City (Hoang Thanh), and at its center, the Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh), where the Emperor resided. The Hue royal complex is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next, enjoy a scenic boat trip on the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda (Heavenly Lady Pagoda), one of the oldest religious structures in Hue. Located 4 kilometers upstream on the riverbanks, it is an active Buddhist monastery dating back to 1601. Later, visit Dong Ba Market for some shopping.
In the afternoon, embark on a spectacular drive over Hai Van Pass, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the famous Lang Co fishing village. Continue to the charming historic city of Hoi An, situated on the banks of the Thu Bon River. Hoi An was a major trading center in Southeast Asia during the 16th century and was declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1999. Overnight at a hotel in Hoi An.
